Jesus Prays for Us
(John 17 : 1-26)

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.”

Discussion Question

1. When was the last time you told someone that you loved them? How do you pray for them?

2. Jesus defined eternal life in verse 3. According to the Gospel of John, what is eternal life? (see also John 3:16,35; 4:14; 10:27–28)

3. Of all the things that Jesus prayed for us, which do you most desire at this current season of life? Why?

4. How can we, members of Granville Chapel, be more loving brothers and sisters of the universal Church of Christ?

5. Spend some time praying for each other and the church, that we may have knowledge that leads to intimacy with God (verse 3), that we will be protected from the evil one (verse 15), for us the to be sanctified (verse 19), and for us to be united in love (verse 23).
