GC Youth

We are a family of youth seeking to follow Jesus together in Vancouver. Learning to be with Him (Abide), become like Him (Become), and do what He does (Partner).

We believe God is moving through people like us in our city and all over the world to restore and renew all that is broken, bringing light to the darkness, and freedom to all through His loving Spirit.

All are welcome and invited on this journey.

We have two youth groups depending on age:

Junior High (grade 6-8)

Serve as a Youth Leader!

We see a team of leaders who follow Jesus, are grounded in Scripture, and are led by the Spirit. A team that enjoys being with each other but whose maturity in Jesus pushes them to make young people a part of their story no matter the cost. We see a team who gathers to pray for our young people. A team who lives as shepherds, companions, and guides not just chaperones on the edge of youth’s lives. A team who are committed to help them see who Jesus is, become like Him, and model the life He invites us into. And we see a team that is excited to gather together. To serve, seeing leadership as a gift to steward rather than a duty to fulfill. Youth leaders make an eternal difference!

GC Youth requires the efforts of great leaders, and we are always looking for more. Let us know if you’d like to serve in any way.

*All leaders must pass certain prerequisites, including a background check.
